In memory of Davy Jones' passing yesterday, here is the finale from the Monkee's self-parodying movie Head, which lampooned commercial culture, the military-industrial complex, and Hollywood itself -- a world from which the Monkees could not quite escape.
The "Porpoise Song" was written by Gerry Goffin and Carole King, and sung by Micky Dolenz with harmony by Davy Jones.
